I have enjoyed teaching for 23 years!  Most of those years were in a Pre-K-6 building in a small lake town 1 1/2 hours south of Buffalo, yes, in the snow belt!  I was a stay at home mom (3 children:  Ryan, Cory and Leah) starting my career as a teacher a bit later than others in my profession earning my masters in Education from SUNY College at Fredonia.  I have taught children in all grade levels be it STEM (Science), 2nd grade, 6th grade, Gifted and Talented/ Enrichment, Kindergarten, and Intervention/ Remediation!

 

Two and a half years ago my husband (Sean) and I decided to pick up and move to North Carolina.  My son, his wife and their two children (Hudson and Hazel Grace) live close by.  We have 3 grandchildren and a cat named Finnegan.   I love to paint, travel,  and dabble with learning the mandolin and guitar when I have time.  Please feel free to contact me at kinalde@hickoryschools.net
